Angaston is the terminus of a line that takes its name from this location in the Barossa region of South Australia. The line branched from the Gawler line (at North Gawler Junction) and was completed in 1911. Passenger services ended in 1968. In 2010, the line was dismantled and converted to a well sealed rail trail. The station however has been preserved and recent images can be found over at Johnny’s Pages .
