Tanuda Station opened in 1911 when the Angaston line opened. Originally a wooden shelter was provided, but that was replaced by the current stone building in 1913. The yard was dismantled in the 1990’s although the goods shed and platform remain. There are some photos of Tanunda from the 1960’s by Dean Jackson in the gallery.
