Melton station as it was before the addition of the second platform in 1991. A bit of the old yard still remained in some of the early photos, and the last day of electric staff working was also captured. Although yards and sheds have disappeared this station has actually grown over the years, being as it services a growing satellite city to the west of Melbourne.
